Experience the holiday season like never before with Symphoria’s performance of Handel’s Messiah. Join us for a magical evening featuring the Syracuse University Oratorio Society, Symphoria, and spectacular soloists. The season’s favorite is back, and it’s a night you won’t want to miss.
John Warren, Director of the Syracuse University Oratorio Society, has led the community and student combined choir since 2011 and has prepared the vocal ensemble for this momentus concert with great anticipation every year. The choir had its start in 1975 and has carried on the tradition of performing Messiah every holiday season for the last 48 years.

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast at Modern Malt before embarking on a visit to the Everson Museum and Onondaga Historical Association. Explore their gift shops to find unique holiday gifts to celebrate Central New York. Lunch is a treat at Epicuse, where you can pick up culinary delights for stocking stuffers. The evening unfolds with a delightful dinner at 317@Montgomery. Then it’s time to head to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary for Handel’s Messiah. Afterward, relish a winter ale at Wolff’s Biergarten before turning in for the night.
Farewell with Sweet Memories:
Sunday December 3
As the weekend comes to a close, enjoy a morning stop at Glazed and Confused for coffee and doughnuts before making your way back home.
