As the holiday season approaches, there’s no better way to celebrate than by bringing your family and friends together to experience the enchantment of Symphoria’s annual Holiday Pops Concert. This year, we’re thrilled to bring you an unforgettable musical experience featuring the stunning vocal talents of Katie Weber and the harmonious voices of the Syracuse Pops Chorus, directed by the maestro of harmonious voices, Lou Lemos. Guiding you through this magical experience is the brilliant conductor, Sean O’Loughlin.
Principal Pops Conductor
Sean O’Loughlin, our Principal Pops Conductor, is the magical maestro behind the mesmerizing music. His vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and colorful scoring promise to transport you to a world of enchantment.
Syracuse Pops Chorus
The Syracuse Pops Chorus, under the direction of Lou Lemos, has been serenading audiences since 2004. Their repertoire includes patriotic anthems, holiday classics, Broadway hits, and songs from the American Songbook. Their harmonious voices will fill your heart with the magic of music.
Mezzo Soprano Kay Weber, affectionately known as Katie, is a dynamic and moving performer. Her commitment to text, musicality, and the art of communicating through music makes her a perfect addition to our concert lineup. Her performances have left audiences in awe, making her return to Symphoria’s stage, a much awaited one!

Friday December 15
Step into the comfort of the Syracuse Marriott Downtown for a delightful afternoon as you prepare for an enchanting weekend. The magic continues as you indulge in a delightful dinner at Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant or The Spaghetti Warehouse. After dinner, head over to the War Memorial to experience the Syracuse Crunch hockey game, where the energy of the crowd and the thrilling on-ice action will add an exhilarating chapter to your magical weekend.
Saturday December 16
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at Funk & Waffles or brunch at Oh My Darling. After enjoying a delicious meal, get ready for the 1:30pm performance of Home for the Holidays. If you’re planning to attend the evening show, we recommend venturing into downtown Syracuse, as it’s a treasure trove of enchanting experiences. Take advantage of guided tours by Dot & Dash or the Downtown Elves, and experience the exciting attractions. If you have a sweet tooth, visit Sweet on Chocolate, where you can find delectable chocolates perfect for holiday gifting before you head to the MOST, where you can explore fascinating exhibits and enjoy a movie at their new digital theatre, the Exploradome. As the sun sets, savor dinner at Dinosaur BBQ or Apizza Regionale before the main event: Symphoria’s Home for the Holidays concert at the Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater at 7:30 pm.
Sunday December 17
Start your day with coffee and pastries at Sweet Praxis, setting the tone for a wonderful morning filled with warmth and delight. Head over to Clinton Square, after breakfast, for a magical ice skating experience and some last-minute shopping. As you round out your weekend, visit the Redhouse Art Center to see You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, for a final burst of magic before you bid farewell to Syracuse!
